I have worked with Michelle for many years, and although there are many people who carry Learning & Development titles, very few have the skills to back it up. Michelle would be one of the best in the country. She has deep L&D experience with a natural intuitiveness that makes for excellent instructional design to her work. Her outputs are creative, user centric and knee-deep in human centred design. Above all that, she is a genuinely values-driven person who is a pleasure to work with. I had the pleasure of working with Michelle for 18 months on a number of initiatives that required out of the box thinking to help learners achieve the right outcomes. Although the topics were often complex, Michelle always found a creative way to make the learning journey interesting and ensured we achieved the objectives we wanted to achieve. I worked with Michelle on a complex change for approx 1 year. Michelle is an exceptional Instructional Learning Designer. I greatly respect Michelle’s talents as an eLearning professional. Her storyboards are creative and engaging, with lots of unique (and still relevant) interaction. Her boards are learner-focused and easily digestible, and her quality focus at both the storyboard and development phases is top-notch. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Michelle and will recommend her in future. She’s a safe pair of hands if you want a job done well.

Michelle was tasked to complete some conversion work of Flash material into Storyline. One of the key criteria was that we wanted to keep as much of the original look and feel and functionality of the existing module. I was really impressed at the end result which did not compromise any of the original spark we saw in the Flash module. Michelle managed to develop an exact copy with all the animations and interactions that were originally in Flash. Impressive! Then the icing on the cake was this was done speedily and when I did the testing found only 1 minor edit to do. (I normally anticipate pages of edits!) Everything about this project was a great experience.

I worked with Michelle on the Telecom Visual Induction, a project of significant proportions that required working to very tight deadlines. Michelle kept the learner in mind always and produced high quality eLearning modules, full of interactivity and accessible content. She was considerate and supportive of the team, and always found time to consult with others if they needed it. Michelle is truly passionate about her work and it really shows in her end product.

Michelle was a pleasure to work with, bringing a creative element and positive energy to every project. Building training solutions is one of her strengths, alongside the strategic management of customer/client expectations and communication needs. I appreciated Michelle’s ability to switch her focus from the details of analysing business training needs to the output of unique ideas and solutions for those needs.
